About
Katarzyna Wesołowska-Waszkowska
Katarzyna Wesołowska-Waszkowska is an artist and a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. She holds a PhD in Art, completed under the academic supervision of Professor Paulina Komorowska-Birger, and is also an art therapist.
She graduated from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences and is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP). She designs, creates, and co-creates both artistic and educational projects.
Main areas of artistic activity:
painting, drawing, assemblage, and objects. In her creative work, she draws upon selected elements of diverse spaces, subjecting them to artistic transformation.
Forms within the surrounding space offer an infinite resource of inspiration; the key is to focus on the aesthetic contexts of selected parts of the interpreted world through artistic transformation. Experiencing and composing is a privilege. Created with gratitude, these new contexts and forms do not need to carry any associative attachment.
